How Can We Fix the Constitution?

Limiting Lobbyists

7

To curb the influence of lobbyists, senators’ and representatives’ calendars shall be filled with citizens, chosen by lottery, from their home state or district. They can meet a CEO concerned about corn tariffs at 10am and then Grandma Bailey at 10:30am to talk about her cat Mr. Snuggles. Lobbyists must wear chicken suits whenever they are within 10 miles of a government building and must cluck like a chicken on command.
